FDIC and CoAction Host Northern Indiana Bank On Alliance Relaunch in Crown Point, Indiana

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and CoAction (formerly Northwest Indiana Community Action) will host a meeting to relaunch the Northern Indiana Bank On Alliance (NIBOA). NIBOA aims to expand bank account access for the unbanked and underbanked residents of Jasper, Lake, LaPorte, Newton, Porter, Pulaski, and Starke counties. FDIC and CoAction invite community stakeholders to consider joining the financial institutions, community-based organizations, and local government agencies interested in relaunching this vital collaboration. A Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund representative will discuss the Bank On national movement. Local leaders will encourage involvement across the region. Finally, meeting attendees will discuss the vision and priorities for NIBOA.
